A map in orthographic projection, depicting seven danger zones for falling stage debris defined in PSLV C40 / Cartosat-2F launch Notice to Airmen (NOTAM). For this launch, XL variant of PSLV was used. Flight path of PSLV-C40 skirting around Sri Lanka depicts the "Dogleg maneuver" to avoid flying over populated areas. This map was created using Gringer's Perlshaper script to convert Natural Earth Data into an SVG file and then refined in Inkscape. Coordinates from launch NOTAM were converted into Shapefile(*.shp) using QGIS to be used in this map. India is highlighted in Green (#346733), disputed territories in light Green (#49C946) and Hazard Zones in faded red (#F07568).
