Old Overleigh Cemetery - Entrance Gates The 'old' Overleigh Cemetery was opened in 1851 in a former quarry and is on the north side of Overleigh Road, opposite the new cemetery. These fine sandstone pillars were made only a few years ago and are copies of the original ones that were badly weathered.
