Summary

Description
Entry to a Military dependent's village ("Zhongzhen New Residential Quarter") on Ln. 14, Jiangong 1st Rd., East Dist., Hsinchu City 300, Taiwan(R.O.C.). A memorial stone, newly erected in 2005, is also in the picture. On the stone, the first part of the inscription is about the services to the country, and the second part is about harmony with the neighborhood and prospering the family. The stone is a replacement of a gate. The gate itself had been rebuilt several times. Originally there was a couplet on the gate which wrote about emotions and determination of recovering homeland. When the gate was torn down for road construction and rebuilt later, a Mr. Yang contributed a new couplet, which became the inscription on this stone. The stone was erected on March 25, 2005, during reconstruction of the village. The stone is for remembering the original entry of the village.
