This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 87002039.

Description

Long Point Lighthouse, Provincetown, MA, built in 1875. Next to that is an shed built in 1904 to store flammables such as oil for the lighthouse's lamp.

The mound next to that is all that remains of a Civil War artillery battery that was built in 1863, and abandoned in 1872. There were two such batteries on Long Point, this one was called the "outer battery".
