Lincoln-Douglas Debates, 1958 American Civil War commemorative issue. The rectangular banner says, with quotation marks,
"Westward the star of empire takes its way:
The girls link on to Lincoln
Their mothers were for Clay."
The first square sign says "Abe the Giant-Killer", the second "The Little Giant chawing [sic] up Old Abe". The original of the cut-off sign most to the right, of which can be seen the word "free" four times, read:
