Photo of the new gate area within the newly renovated terminal - at the Lincoln Airport, in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Photo was taken during an open house to the public (30 May 2023) of the nearly completed renovations, a day before going into full use. The still remaining / in-use Terminal 2 will be gutted and turned into offices for the Lincoln Airport Authority, once the new gate area is operational. Renovations to the Lincoln Airport include combining the two old terminals into one, increasing gates to six, consolidating security screening to one area, moving airport concessions into the new gate area, new jetways, new ticket counters, new luggage belts, optimized movement within the airport, new offices, additions to the original airport terminal building, a completely renovated interior, etc. Renovations are still ongoing, as of this date. |
