Description
Español: este faro comenzó a construirse el día 19 de diciembre de 1918 y se termina el de 23 de enero de 1919. Se ubica sobre uno de los islotes Les Esclaireus en el Canal de Beagle al sur de Tierra del Fuego. Su situación geográfica es de 54º 52' S, 68º 05' W.


Posee una torre troncocónica con garita y 3 franjas rojas y blancas, con una altura de 11 m, y una elevación sobre el nivel del mar de 22,5 msnm . El nombre del faro deriva de los islotes en donde está ubicado, y fue impuesto por el Capitán de fragata Luis Fernando Martial, bajo las ordenes de la expedición francesa de "La Romanche" en los años 1882-1883. Este relevamiento fue organizado por la Academia Nacional de Ciencias de Francia y la Marina Francesa.
