Summary
| Description |
Knighton War Memorial (1), Brookside Square, Knighton, Powys. This memorial, which relates to both World Wars, was relocated here from a site at the junction of Church Road and Station Road. This was some decades after the end of the Second World War (1939-1945). The memorial itself, in its original position, was unveiled and dedicated on the 2nd October 1921. There are some fascinating photographs of this event to be found on a website called Old UK Photos, in the Knighton Radnorshire section. |
