Description
Magyar: Képes krónika (105.oldal) - A csóri vadászat
"D" iniciáléban a csóri vadászat. Sziklás tájon egy erdőcskében balról jobb felé lovagol Álmos herceg két kísérővel, akik Kálmán király hívei. Lova lába előtt sólyma egy varjút tart nyakánál fogva, egy csaholó kutya fut feléjük. E jelenet magyarázata: a király elbocsátotta a herceget vadászatra, de híveivel kísértette őt, hogy "kifürkésszék lelkületét". Csórban a herceg sólyma "varjút fogott".
English: Chronicon Pictum (Page 105) - The hunt in Csór
In the initial "D", in a rocky landscape, in a forest, Prince Álmos is riding with two attendants who are followers of King Coloman. At his horse's feet, a hawk is holding a crow by the neck, and a barking dog is running towards them. The explanation of this scene: the king let the prince go to hunting, but tempted him with his followers to "examine his soul". In Csór, the prince's falcon "caught a crow". The prince then said: "What if the crow swore to the hawk that it would not caw again if the hawk let it go?" The words of the duke were immediately reported to the king.
