Summary

Description
A rainy day in Johnstone High Street, Scotland. The white fronted shop is a branch of Woolworths. A long standing fixture of the town, it finally closed in 2009 when the national retail chain folded. The bus was less long lived, one of the Clydeside Scottish Routemasters which were only used between 1985 and 1990. This bus, RM720 (no. JC51, reg. WLT 720), is pulling into the bus stop while operating route 36 from Glasgow to Kilbarchan Wheatlands, via Johnstone Centre, Paisley & Ibrox. The coach behind is probably operating a Scottish Citylink long distance service. The orange bar on top of the bus stop flag denotes that it is within the Strathclyde PTE area.
