Cuartelado con escusón: en el primer cuartel, blasón de Austria moderna: en campo de gules, faja de plata; en el segundo, correspondiente a Borgoña moderna (ducado de Dijon), campo de azur con tres flores de lis de oro, puestas dos y una; en el tercero, perteneciente a Borgoña antigua (Franco Condado: Besançon), bandado de oro y azur, en órdenes de 3 y 3, con bordura componada de gules; en el cuarto, en campo de sable, león rampante de oro y linguado, correspondiente a Bravante (ducado de Bruselas, Amberes, Lovaina y Breda) y, finalmente, un escusón que presenta en campo dorado león rampante de sable, correspondiente a Flandes (condado de Brujas y Gante). El primer cuartel de gules y oro, que representa el reino de Castilla, muestra un castillo dorado almenado; en el segundo, de plata, un león rampante de sable, linguado y coronado de oro, representa el reino de León.
