English: HONOLULU, March 1.—Mrs. Jane Lathrop Stanford of San Francisco, widow of United States Senator Leland Sanford, died at 11:40 o'clock last night at the Moana Hotel here. Suspicious circumstances surround the death of Mrs. Stanford. She was taken ill at eleven o'clock, and said: "I have been poisoned!" Her last words were "This is a terrible death to die!" The police are conducting an investigation.
