This picture is the only picture known to show the 'new' Jaguar mascot as applied to the SS Cars Ltd Model 100 Jaguar in 1937. After the war, the company changed the name to Jaguar Cars, and this mascot became synonymous with the new Jaguar brand. This is an important historical reference.
