Français : Jacques Marescaux, né le 4 août 1948 à Clermont-Ferrand, est un médecin hospitalier et académicien français. Il est chef du département de chirurgie digestive et endocrinienne aux Hôpitaux universitaires de Strasbourg. C'est aussi le fondateur de Institut de recherche contre les cancers de l'appareil digestif (Ircad), reconnue mondialement comme un centre de référence en matière de chirurgie mini-invasive et de l'European Institute of TeleSurgery.
