Magyar: :A vitézi melljelvény nagysága 38x57 mm, kék alapon nyugszik a koronás magyar címer. A címer közepén fekszik a hegyével felfelé mutató ezüst vitézi kard. A korona fehér alapon helyezkedik el, amelyen arany sugarak láthatók. A címertől jobbra zöld tölgyfaág, piros makkokkal és balra arany kalászok díszítik a pajzsot.
A Vitézi Szék 1920. december 11-én pályázatot hirdetett a vitézi jelvény tervének megrajzolására. A pályázat kikötötte, hogy ."Érdembeli elbírálásra csak az a pályamunka tarthat igényt, amely a vitézség motívumának kifejezése mellett, bizonyos magyar egységességgel látja el a jelvényt". A pályázatra beérkezett munkákat 1921. február 6-án a Kormányzó személyes részvételével háromtagú zsűri bírálta el, melynek tagjai voltak: Csánky Dezső, az Országos Levéltár főigazgatója, dr. Fejérpataki László, a Nemzeti Múzeum főigazgatója és Nádler Róbert egyetemi tanár, a Képzőművészek Egyesületének elnöke. Az első díjat Szilasi József iparművész terve nyerte el, és a Vitézi Szék határozata értelmében az ő terve került kivitelre.
A vitézi jelvény formája pajzs, amely a védelem, a haza védelmének a jelképe. Tengelyében a kard a meg nem alkuvó harcot jelenti és a győzelem kivívásának az eszköze. A magyar egységességet a pajzsra helyezett kis címer jelképezi. Rajta Szent Korona, Rendünk jogforrása és legfőbb védnöke, a Szent Korona tana és a Vitézi Rend közötti kapcsolat jelképe. Háttérben a Nap korongja sugaraival beragyogja a Szent Koronát és termékennyé teszi a magyar rónát, amelyet a pajzson látható búzakalász jelképez. A pajzson tölgyfalombot is látunk. A tölgyfalomb a hazát hősiesen védők jutalmának a jelképe.
