Case 159.—The male bird is being mobbed by Meadow Pipits(mobbing by smaller birds is common, probablybecause the Cuckoo is mistaken for a bird of prey).Both in size and colouration there is considerableresemblance between Sparrow Hawks and Cuckoos.
