  • In the background at center, the sign "Hamburgers" can be seen at the top of a large structure.
  • There are many horse-drawn wagons, cable cars, and pedestrians in the scene. In the street at center, a railcar is visible. At least four horse-drawn carriages can be seen as well. A man on a bicycle is also visible on the road moving rapidly to the right. Pedestrians flood the sidewalks on both sides of the street.
  • Cross street in foreground is 1st Street.
  • Large buildings line both sides of the street. On the left, large striped awnings protrude from each of the buildings over the sidewalk.
