Summary

Description
This photograph depicts three Belizean children from San Pedro Town dressed as Christian saints, martyrs and Biblical figures for the observance of Allhallowtide. It is common for Christian schools to host parties on the first two days of this triduum, All Hallows' Eve (Halloween) and All Hallows' Day (All Saints' Day), in which costumes of this kind are worn. In some Christian denominations, children also dress up as the Reformers for Reformation Day events, which are often celebrated alongside those of All Hallows' Eve.
