View westwards from the east end of the Down platform: compare with SO8318 : The 'Devonian' at Gloucester Eastgate, SO8318 : Gloucester Eastgate Station in 1950, with a 'Compound' 4-4-0 and SO8318 : Gloucester Eastgate Station in 1962, with a 2MT 2-6-0. This is the 09.15 stopping train from Bristol Temple Meads, headed by very smart BR Standard 4MT 4-6-0 No. 75022, which will proceed presently to Birmingham New Street.
