Español: Panel decorativo (friso, siglo XI) del salón dorado de La Aljafería de Zaragoza (España). Se conserva desde 1869 en el Museo Arqueológico Nacional (España). N.º de inventario: 50440. Yeso policromado. Altura = 162 cm; Anchura = 151 cm.
Descripción: Decoración que evoca una arquería entrelazada de arcos mixtilíneos y otros de herradura apuntados sobre columnas de capiteles compuestos y fustes variados, torsos y lisos, y con decoración pintada en zig-zag; vanos ciegos rellenos con ataurique y de largos tallos formando roleos y hojas disimétricas, digitadas y anilladas. En la zona superior inscripción cúfica ("... los fieles...") con prolongaciones vegetales. Conserva restos de policromía en rojo, azul, blanco y negro. |
