Summary

Description
The Swedish Air Force's glider badge A-diploma no. 1133. Made of silver judging by the oxidation/patination and polishing. Stamped with 1133 and "C. C. Sporrong & Co - Stockholm". White bird against a blue background (transparent enamel) with the letters SE and edge in silver. The badge is 19 mm (0.75 in) in diameter. Made to be worn in a buttonhole. These were produced between 1942-1958 in 8218 copies, so presumably the number on the back is one of these. Belonged to Nils Erik Qvarnström (1926-2016). Photographed in Tuntorp, Brastad, Lysekil Municipality, Sweden.
