Fleet Week New York 2012 marks the 25th year the city has celebrated the nation's sea services for the citizens of New York and the tri-state area. This year, the seven-day event, coincides with the commemoration of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812, with more than 6,000 service-members from the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard sea services in addition to coalition ships from around the world.
