Description Four U.S. Marine Corps Vought F8U-1E Crusader from Marine Fighter Squadron VMF-251 Thunderbolts in flight. VMF-251 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 10 (CVG-10) aboard the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Shangri-La (CVA-38) for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea from 7 February to 28 August 1962.
