Outcomes of mutual dust collisions within a protoplanetary disk, illustrating particle growth (thick black lines) after Testi et al. (2014). The green, yellow, red, and pink boxes represent the explored parameter space and laboratory experiment results (Blum, 2018). Green signifies sticking or mass transfer, yellow represents bouncing, while pink and red denote fragmentation or erosion. Thin black lines in the figure depict relative velocities between particles in a solar nebula model at 1 AU (Weidenschilling and Cuzzi, 1993), using nebular parameters from Hayashi et al. (1985) at 1 AU.
