![Donna D. Elbert (27 January 1928–15 January 2019) was an American "computer" who worked closely with astrophysicist Nobel Laureate Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar for 30 years. She co-authored 18 papers with the astrophysicist and even single-authored her own paper "Bessel and Related Functions Which Occur in Hydromagnetics," published in the Astrophysical Journal in 1957.
