From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Original file(SVG file, nominally 870 × 620 pixels, file size: 120 KB)

Summary

Description
The development of the Old Testament from the Tanakh, the (Catholic) Deuterocanon and major books from the Apocrypha. Books are shown in order of the current Christian canon, with their order according to the Tanakh given in the margins to show how their relative positions changed in the development of the canon. The size of each book is relate to the number of chapters that book contains. The deuterocanon and apocrypha are shown in different colours compared to the remaining books: for Esther and Daniel, coloured strips show the placement of their deuterocanonical chapters in those books according to the Septuagint.
