  • American ship S.S. President Grant - one of the transport ships that transported Czechoslovak legionnaires from the port of Vladivostok back to their homeland - This ship specifically realized in 1920 the 23rd transport of Czechoslovak legionnaires from Vladivostok (departure on 22 or 27 April 1920) to Trieste (arrival on 12 June 1920) during which approximately 4,613 to 5,000 officers and soldiers were transported. In 1920, the ship carried out the 35th transport of Czechoslovak Legion members from Vladivostok (departure on 24 August 1920) to Trieste (arrival on 13 October 1920), during which 1,944 persons (officers and soldiers) were transported.
