Description
The fourth and final sheet of the four-sheet Corbitis Atlas ("Corbizzi"), a set of Italian portolan charts, believed to have been made by an anonymous Venetian cartographer, between 1384 and 1410. The atlas (Ms. It. VI 213) is held at the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana in Venice, Italy.
  • This 4th sheet (oriented with North on top) depicts the south Atlantic (from the Portuguese coast down to Cape Bojador in west Africa, and includes the Canary islands)
