Summary

Description Copthorne Chapel, Chapel Lane, Copthorne, District of Mid Sussex, West Sussex, England. Built in 1828 and restored in 1898, according to the plaque above the circular window, this Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion evangelical chapel has been in continuous use ever since. It stands in an isolated position northeast of the village; the Surrey/West Sussex county boundary is immediately behind the photographer, and East Sussex and Kent are also close by.
