A LEFT-handed/counterclockwise circularly polarized wave as defined from the point of view of the SOURCE. A RIGHT-handed/clockwise circularly polarized wave as defined from the point of view of the RECEIVER. Refer to Circular polarization Handedness conventions for clarification. The initial Inkscape SVG file used to create the frames can be found there. This image was created using the open source program Inkscape then the open source program GIMP to create the GIF animation. If you need to alter it I would suggest first going to my Wikimedia User page at Dave3457 where information is gathered and other related images are listed.
