Description
In this sketch, journalist Marguerite Martyn illustrates her interview in Washington, D.C. with Wu Tingfang, retiring minister from China to the United States She writes that he was voluble when asking questions of her but carefully took his time in answering questions that she asked. The interview, and sketches made by Martyn, were printed in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on October 24, 1909.
