A change of mind, however, led him to accept a position at Sydney Grammar School teaching science and mathematics. His passionate interest in dragonflies saw him make many contributions to the Linnaean Society of New South Wales. He eventually resigned as a school teacher and completed in zoology at the University of Sydney.](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/cf/CSIRO_ScienceImage_2955_Robert_J_Tillyard_18811937.jpg/434px-CSIRO_ScienceImage_2955_Robert_J_Tillyard_18811937.jpg)
