Classical poem in cursive script, by Wang Wen
  • Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1368 - 1644)
Born in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, Wang was an official known for his poetry, painting, and calligraphy. The cursive script used here shows his skill in presenting the style in a graceful, but forceful way. There are two seals at the bottom, and the seal of his studio "Shiyin" is at the top.
