Summary

Description
GREECE: French-Hellenic Railway Company (Chemin de Fer Franco-Hellenique - CFFH) outside-framed 4-4-0 steam locomotive No. 102 at Alexandroupolis. This independent line was the Greek section of the erstwhile Chemins de fer Orientaux (Ottoman Oriental Company - CO) and this locomotive was the last survivor of the 16 originally obtained between 1888 and 1894 for mainline passenger work. It had been built in Vienna in 1888 by StEG (Imperial Royal Privileged Austrian State Railway Company - Staatseisenbahngesellschaft). From the end of 1953, Hellenic State Railways (SEK) would take over the line and allocate a new identity to this veteran - as Δγ 76 - although no further work was likely found for it.
