Die bedingungslose Kapitulation der faschistischen deutschen Wehrmacht wird am 8. Mai 1945 in Berlin - Karlshorst unterzeichnet.
Als Vertreter des Oberkommandos der Roten Armee unterzeichnet Marschall der Sowjetunion G. K. Shukow die Kapitulationsurkunde, links daneben der stellvertretende sowjetische Außenminister A. J. Wyschinskij, rechts Armeegeneral W. D. Sokolowski.

English: The unconditional surrender of the German Wehrmacht is signed on 8 May 1945 in Karlshorst by Marshall of the Soviet Union Georgy Zhukov, in representation of the Red Army High Command, by the Soviet deputy foreign minister Andrey Vyshinsky (to the left of Zhukov), and by the General of the Army Vasily Sokolovsky (to the right).
