Einst Mitbegründer von Pink Floyd inszenierte er seine 1979 geschaffene Rockoper zum voraussichtlich letzten Mal als Auftakt für den neu geschaffenen Memorial Fund for Disaster Relief (Stiftung für Katastrophenopfer).
