Der Reichsführer SS Himmler sprach als Befehlshaber des deutschen Ersatzheeres vor den angetretenen ostpreussischen Volkssturm-Bataillonen, die als erste zu den Waffen gegriffen haben. Neben dem Reichsführer-SS Obergruppenführer Lammers und Generaloberst Guderian.
