![Information from entry in the SHM collections (107213_HST): Bridle from Broa, Halla parish, Gotland. Gilt bronze. 800 – 1100, Viking Age. English description from The Viking World exhibit (Link): Decorated horse bridles made with 21 differently shaped, gilded and richly ornamented bronze mounts on a leather strapping and an accompanying iron bit. Five of the gilded mounts stand out. They are decorated in relief in a gripping-beast style called Broa Style, named after the place they were found. Three of them are rectangular with animal heads in the upper edges, the other two have dragon heads in profile. Grave find, Broa, Gotland. Swedish description (Link): Praktfullt hästbetsel av 21 olikformade förgyllda och rikt ornerade bronsbeslag, monterade på en läderrem samt ett tillhörande, komplett bett av järn. Av de förgyllda beslagen utmärker sig fem. De är reliefornerade i en gripdjursstil som efter fyndplatsen benämns "Broa-stil". Tre av dem är rektangulära med djurhuvuden i överkanterna, de andra två är utformade som profilerade drakhuvuden.
