Português: Num escudo boleado em campo de ouro, duas alabardas, de vermelho, passadas em aspa, tendo superposta uma granada, de preto e chamejante de vermelho. No cantão da sinestra do chefe, uma âncora, de vermelho, disposta em contrabanda.

EXPLICAÇÃO

No campo de ouro, metal evocativo de força e poder, o conjunto heráldico é aquele constante do primeiro escudo do Regimento Naval, predecessor do Corpo de Fuzileiros Navais, A granada chamejante reporta-se à Brigada Real da Marinha, que, criada em 1797 por Alvará de D. Maria I, Rainha de Portugal, era responsável pela artilharia e defesa dos navios que conduziram a Família Real Portuguesa e sua corte para o Brasil, e que posteriormente passou a ser considerada como a célula mater do CFN.

Os navios são recordados pela âncora de vermelho, cujo esmalte, evocativo de coragem e bravura, alude aos predicados daquele Corpo, também rememorado pelas duas alabardas.
