DescriptionBlack-headed Gull - St James 27s Park 2C London - Nov 2006 edit2.jpg
A Black-headed Gull (Chroicocephalus ridibundus) in St James's Park, London, England. Although the gull typically has a black head, as the name suggests, its winter plumage around the head is white with black spots, visible on the side of the head. This image was taken by myself with a Canon 5D and 70-200mm f/2.8L lens at 150mm, ISO 1600 and f/8 with a 1/1250s shutter speed. This is the edited version which took out the noise and dead pixels.
