Exhibition history Das Bild - ursprünglich für St. Trinitatis gemalt - lagerte lange unerkannt im Depot des Altonaer Museums. Es wurde 2006 restauriert und nach Trinitatis zurückgebracht.
Notes Das Ansgar-Gemälde von Bornemann befand sich im Hamburger Dom und gelangte nach dem Abbruch in die Hamburger Hauptkirche St. Petri.
