Basicode.jpg (301 × 197 pixels, file size: 15 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)
A BASICODE logo, presumably created on a KC 85 computer.
The German inscription is:
“ | Ein Esperanto fuer Computer BASICODE Aus Holland im Rundfunk der DDR |
” |
which translates to:
“ | An Esperanto for computers BASICODE From Holland in GDR broadcasting |
” |

This is taken from kc85emu.de, at this location. The image is used in this article, which is a scan of the article "Basicode, ein Esperanto für alle Rechner" by Prof. Horst Völz, released in the German Democratic Republic computer magazine radio fernsehen elektronik (rfe), issue 9/1989. The rfe magazine still exists and its owner, the Huss-Unternehmens-Grippe presumably has inherited the copyright.
