Description
Ballyhale railway station (site), County Kilkenny
Opened in 1853 by the Waterford & Kilkenny Railway on the line between those two places, it later became part of the Great Southern & Western Railway. This station closed in 1963. View north towards Thomastown & Kilkenny. The building was still extant when this image was taken but the platform had been removed.
