Voraussetzungen:

Stufe I, Bronze: Besitz des Militärluftfahrzeugführerscheins (MFS) und Luftfahrzeugführergrad 3 (Standard Pilot).
Stufe II, Silber: Besitz des MFS und Luftfahrzeugführergrad 2 (Senior Pilot) und 1200 Flugstunden.
Stufe III, Gold: Besitz des MFS und Luftfahrzeugführergrad 1 (Command Pilot) und 1800 Flugstunden.

Anmerkung:

Als Flugstunden angerechnet wird die gesamte Flugzeit als 1. bzw. 2. Luftfahrzeugführer einschließlich Schulung und Auswahlschulung mit dienstlichem Auftrag.

Ausführung:

Bundesadler mit Eichenlaubumrandung in Doppelschwinge mit unterem Federkranz, metallgeprägt; bronze-, silber- oder goldfarben.
