File:Autism susceptibility genes effect on brain structure.png

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Original file(1,232 × 504 pixels, file size: 227 KB, MIME type: image/png)

This diagram image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Autism susceptibility genes effect on brain structure.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Up to 1000 genes are currently thought to contribute to susceptibility to autism. However most eventually affect brain development in a similar way leading to characteristic ASD social function deficits and repetitive behaviors
