Former Anglican priest and U.S. Army Maj. Ken Bolin, brigade chaplain for the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, gives his first blessing as an ordained priest to Anchorage Archbishop Robert Schwietz at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish March 7th. As an ordained priest, Bolin is authorized to celebrate both the standard Roman Missal Mass as well as the adapted Anglican Mass. Bolin is the newest of five married Catholic priests to currently serve in the chaplain corps on active duty in the U.S. Army. (Photo by U.S. Army Sgt. Eric-James Estrada)
