Fourteenth Avenue North is one of Seattle's many beautiful residence streets." The street is now Fourteenth Avenue East; this is part of the stretch once known as Millionaire's Row (though the name has faded from use), just south of Volunteer Park. Several of these houses have been either altered or demolished. The view is looking east southeast. This is just of Ward Street; Aloha Street runs between the second and third houses. More from Rob Ketcherside, via FaceBook, paraphrased (and referring both to this photo and, for colors, the one that is thumbnailed here: the house on the far left, 908 14th Ave E, still exists; recognizable back behind the trees. The next to the right, 906 14th Ave E, still exists; 3rd floor/roof has been altered. Across the street is 1409 E Aloha. It is there and unaltered but looks very dark, dirty, not obvious. Beyond that, 804 14th Ave E exists largely unaltered. Next 720 14th Ave E is blue, but may have been mistakenly painted brown in the photo. What looks like a white bottom is actually stone.
