Summary

Description
A relief depicting the Anatolian moon god Arma, worshiped by Luwians and Hittites. According to Hittitologist Piotr Taracha, Arma's iconography developed in Kizzuwatna, a kingdom located in modern Turkey, and was based on depictions of the Hurrian moon god, Kušuḫ. Both deities were portrayed as winged men wearing headgear decorated with a lunar symbol.
