The poet and artist on Mukamm --- Amanni Shahan was born in Yarkant in 1526 and became Arbdu Rushitiham's wife, who is the king or Yarkant Nation (1514--1682). During her life, she wrote "The Motto in Heart", "Virtue", "Amanni Shahan's poems" and some other famous works. In the process of collecting, arranging and enriching twelve Mukamm, she wrote "Yixireti'engrz Mukamm".

Twelve Mukamm is the national treasure in our culture. It is seldom seen in the world, so it is called "a big wonder of music in the east". On November 25th, 2005, it is defined "the third representative work of the human's oral and non-material heritage" by the United Nations Education and Research Organization.

Ammani Shahan was dead in 1560 when she was only 34 years old because of her baby's coming and then buried in Aerten Mazar. In order to memorize Amanni Shahan's great contribution, people built Amanni Shahan's imperial tomb in 1992.
