"A panorama of Aliso Canyon, created from two circa 1900 images, shows a eucalyptus grove on the left, part of the original Goff homestead, and to the right, buildings on the Thurston homestead, begun in 1871. The two-story house replaced the original cabin around 1890. In 1935, two acres of the eucalyptus grove were donated by Blanche and Florence Dolph for a Girl Scout Camp commemorating their mother.
